The FY 1999-2000 City of Valley property tax levy is 41.946¢ per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2000-2001 City of Valley property tax levy is 40.577¢ per $100 of valuation. The city budget grew by 33%, from $969,874 to $1,292,180. The owner of a $100,000 home, with a 15% hike in valuation, paid $18 more in property taxes.
The FY 2001-2002 City of Valley property tax levy is 38.796¢ per $100 of valuation. The owner of a $100,000 home paid about $388 in property tax, an $18 drop, not factoring in the valuation hike. The general fund budget rose 38%, from $1.3 million to $1.8 million.
The FY 2002-2003 City of Valley property tax levy is 40.469¢ per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2003-2004 City of Valley property tax levy is 38.502¢ per $100 of valuation.
The FY 2004-2005 City of Valley property tax levy is 40.250¢ per $100 of valuation. The total budget rose from $4.9 million to $8.9 million.
